Seeking office/inventory manager with quality representative duties for a tissue distribution intermediary located in Orlando, Florida. This position would have the following responsibilities:
Receipt, inspection and storage of incoming Human Tissue Based Products (HCT/Ps) ensuring that they satisfy all specified requirements and are not damaged during shipment
Responsible to ensure that the storage of HCT/Ps is in accordance with manufacturer’s label instructions, AATB Standards for Tissue Banking, and/or other specified requirements
Abiding by Quality Program which ensures that the organization maintains consistent compliance with FDA’s Current Good Tissue Practice Regulations (21 CFR 1271), applicable AATB Standards for Tissue Banking (current revision), and applicable state regulations
Managing HCT/P inventory
Accounting and Billing of HCT/P inventory
Packaging and Shipment of HCT/P inventory to customer
Surgery schedule and order processing management
Assist with the implementation of policies, procedures and practices of the Quality Management System as they relate to the requirements of cGTP, cGMP, and AATB compliance
Ensure staff is trained on all applicable Tissue Banking requirements, and serve as a resource on the requirements
Remain current and apply the understanding of CFR 1271 and Current Good Tissue Practices (cGTPs) in carrying out duties
Candidate requirements:
Experience in AATB or AABB , and cGTPs preferable
Able to work independently
Good project management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure and short time lines
Able to work with teams
Good record keeping and documentation skills
Good communication skills
High attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word, Quickbooks or other accounting software, and inventory management systems
Willing to work with material derived from human tissues
NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: Additional $400 per month in health insurance contribution.
